Located in the east wing, the 168-seat Martin and Edwidge Woldson Recital Hall has retractable seating for events requiring an open-floor layout. Offices, classrooms and a design studio were also incorporated into the space to enhance learning and performing arts education. The entire facility includes state-of-the-art acoustical and lighting systems. In alignment with Myrtle Woldson’s enthusiasm for the arts, performances will be provided for not only Gonzaga students, but also the greater Spokane community. In memory of Myrtle Woldson, the building includes a space that is a direct replica of a portion of Woldson’s house, specifically the living, dining and sitting rooms.
